Post-Ceremony Surveys Onboarding Guide
Collect feedback that helps you improve every ceremony.
With Tassel surveys, you can send short, customized surveys to graduates and guests after your ceremony, so you can understand what worked and where to improve, without adding extra work for your team.
What You'll Need
To launch your surveys, we need the following:
Your survey plan
- Up to 2 surveys (for graduates, guests, or both)
- Up to 5 questions per survey
Your audience
Who you want to send surveys to:
- Graduates
- Guests
- Or both
Steps to Go Live
Step 1: Complete your survey intake form
Your Customer Success Manager will send you an intake form to get started.
In the form, you will:
- Choose your audience (graduates, guests, or both)
- Decide if you want separate surveys
- Customize up to 5 questions per survey
We'll prefill suggested questions to help you get started.
Tip: Short surveys lead to higher response rates and more thoughtful feedback.
Step 2: Review your survey and links
After you submit your form, Tassel will send you:
- Your survey link(s)
- A link to your reporting dashboard
Review your surveys to make sure everything looks right.
Step 3: Review your email templates
We'll create email template(s) for you in the Communications module.
To review and edit:
- Go to Communications → Manage Templates
- Find your survey template under "Non Automated Email Templates"
- Edit the message to match your school's voice
Step 4: Send your survey
You're ready to send your survey using the Communications module.
To send to all graduates:
- Go to Send Email
- Select All graduates for ceremonies
- Choose your ceremony
- Load your survey email template
- Review recipients and send
To send based on RSVP status:
- Go to Graduates module
- Load your ceremony and select RSVP status
- Use Add to Email to move recipients into Communications
- Load your template and send
What Happens Next
We make it easy to track and learn from your results.
- Surveys are delivered via email or text
- Responses are collected in real time
- You can view results in your reporting dashboard
- There is no limit on responses
