Stage Videos Onboarding Guide
Stage videos are included in your Tassel Expert package. After your ceremony, we create and send each graduate a personalized clip of their stage crossing, so you can extend the celebration without adding extra work.
What You'll Need
To create your stage videos, we need the following from you:
Your ceremony recording
A full recording of your ceremony, including each graduate's stage crossing.
An export of your Director logs
Logs that match each graduate to their exact stage moment.
Steps to Go Live
Step 1: Capture your ceremony
Record your full ceremony, including each graduate's stage crossing.
- Use your in-house team or video partner
- Record continuously when possible
- Make sure the stage and graduate flow are clearly visible
Tip: Higher-quality recordings lead to higher-quality video clips for your graduates.
Step 2: Export your Director logs
After your ceremony, export your Director logs.
- Logs allow us to match each graduate to their exact stage moment
- Make sure your logs reflect the final ceremony flow

Send your recording and Director logs to your Tassel Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Once they have both, we'll begin creating your videos.

- Each graduate receives a 10 to 30 second personalized video
- Emails are branded for your institution
- Videos are delivered within about a week from a Tassel email address
- Graduates can download or share their clip with family and friends
- Video links are active for 90 days
