    About the Role

    Tassel is seeking a mid-level full-stack software engineer to join us for greenfield development and legacy modernization projects. As a Mid-level Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will focus on frontend development with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, while also contributing to backend services in .NET 8/10 and SQL Server. This role requires a developer who can work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver high-quality, production-ready code.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop new frontend features and UI components using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
    • Develop and maintain new and existing features using .NET/C#, ASP, and Microsoft SQL Server
    • Contribute to architectural and design decisions related to new and existing features in a full-stack context.
    • Ensure performance, accessibility, and reliability across the application
    • Integrate with 3rd party APIs and service providers across the stack
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
    • Assist with application deployments and troubleshooting in Azure when needed

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
    • Production experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
    • Production experience with .NET, ASP, and C#
    • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
    • Experience writing and maintaining automated, unit, and integration tests
    • Understanding of full-stack architecture best practices
    • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
    • Exposure to CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
    • Familiarity working in Azure environments
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting
    • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship

    Qualifications

    • Experience with Docker in development workflows
    • Background working in modernization or legacy migration projects
    • Exposure to Angular.js or similar legacy frameworks
    • Experience with Azure Service Bus or similar message queue technologies
